Dr. Shogo Mochizuki began studying Kobido in Tokyo, Japan, in 1977. He started teaching Kobido in the United States in 1993 and published the first Kobido textbook in 1995. He is the author of all official Kobido books. Over the past 33 years, he has trained more than 50,000 students worldwide. He was appointed by the 25th Generation Master of the House and Lineage of Kobido and currently carries the role of 26th Generation Master and Lineage Holder.

Noriko Sakomaki has been an apprentice of Dr. Shogo Mochizuki since 2009. She is a graduate of Kobido Esthetic College in Tokyo, Japan. She has undergone instructor training with Dr. Shogo in 2011 to become an official licensed Kobido instructor. She teaches in both Japanese and English.

Ritsuko Kanetsuna has been an apprentice of Dr. Shogo Mochizuki since 2011. She is a graduate of Kobido Esthetic College in Tokyo, Japan. She has undergone instructor training with Dr. Shogo to become an official licensed Kobido instructor. She is the head instructor of Kobido Esthetic College.

Josaphat Saussaye has been an apprentice of Dr. Shogo Mochizuki since 2017. She is a graduate of Kobido Esthetic College in Tokyo, Japan. She holds the highest level of Kobido training (Level 8 apprentice) among all students in France. She has undergone instructor training with Dr. Shogo to become an official licensed Kobido instructor. She teaches in both French and English.

Elisabetta Pittolo has been an apprentice of Dr. Shogo Mochizuki since 2016. She is a graduate of Kobido Esthetic College in Tokyo, Japan. She holds the highest level of Kobido training (Level 8 apprentice) among all students in Italy. She has undergone instructor training with Dr. Shogo to become an official licensed Kobido instructor. She teaches in both Italian and English.
